Rocky Mountain Junior Prep Combine

The complete hockey program to prepare players for Junior Hockey. Educating aspiring hockey players on acquiring the necessary skills and perspective to successfully make the transition to Junior hockey.  We will deliver Junior quality on-ice and off-ice training sessions, as well as symposiums based on experience and acquired knowledge as former Junior hockey players and current Junior hockey coaches. 

Learn what coaches are looking for on the ice and in the training room. Players will receive professional level instruction that will progress Individual Skill, Increase Compete Level, Improve Hockey IQ. Learn about the junior hockey experience right from the source!


Junior Prep Combine Experience

Bantam-Minor Midget & Midget-Junior Groups

Our Program Structure:

On-ice sessions with professional coaches focusing on:              

  • 1.     Junior Level Practice Habits
  • 2.     Intensity and Work Ethic Demands
  • 3.     Expectations of Skill and Compete Levels
  • 4.     Ability to Comprehend Advanced Playing Structures

Off-ice training sessions with professional trainers focusing on:

  • 1.     In Season Training & Maintenance Methods
  • 2.     Off Season Training Processes
  • 3.     Understanding Rest & Recovery
  • 4.     Importance of Nutrition

Symposium sessions, offered to both player and parents, addressing topics including, but not limited to:

  • 1.     Billets and Adjusting to Living Away From Home
  • 2.     Balancing Athletics and Academics
  • 3.     Coach / Player Relationship and Communication
  • 4.     Understanding the Business Aspect of Junior Hockey
  • 5.     A Day In The Life of a Junior Hockey Player
  • 6.     Social Media, Public Relations, Public Perceptions
  • 7.     Finding Your Path – Junior A or Major Junior

Nutrition Session including Self Prepared Lunch.  

  • 1.     Players will be educated on preparing proper pre-game and post-game meals.
  • 2.     Players trip to grocery store, players then prepare proper meal for the group.
